Friends

Also, because some people still seem to be a bit iffy; you always need to find neutral ground in life. Yes, of course it's more fun to have so many similar interests that you get excited just by seeing each other, because you know the conversation is going to be an absolute blast! However, you're not always going to get this. You're going to find people who you probably barely hold a civil conversation with because your minds are so different. If you can't at least try to get along though, you're never going to grow as a person. Life is about reaching out, and expanding on opinions and thoughts. If you find yourself with someone, arguing about a topic, try to take a step back. Find something you can talk about. It's not going to be necessarily easy, but if it was, life would be boring. I say tomatoes are a fruit, you swear by the death of your grandmother they're a vegetable; well alright, fine. We can both agree an apple is a fruit though, right? If you really can't get along, agree to disagree.

Don't let Fandom Wars ruin what could possibly be a nice friendship, simply because you believe Cloud uses enough hairgel to kill a chocobo, and your could-be-friend believes it's au-naturel.

Of course, you're completely free to disagree with me; I'd be quite the hypocrite if I got upset if you did.

I have friends that only ship cannon. I for the most part only ship yaoi. We get along though. Occasionally we can get in a disagreement about pairings, but for the most part, we can have a civil conversation.

Why is it people all over dA, or fanfiction.net can't get along?! It's incredibly stupid. I like cats. You like dogs. Does that mean we have to hate each other from the get-go?

First to ~DomaYuset. My cannon shipping friend. She's one of the most caring people I know, and even though we're only friends online, she means a lot to me. She's pep-talked me through a lot of problems.

Second to *Mewithe. My BL loving friend. She's got all the 'Older Female' knowledge that I have yet to aquire. She's helped so much with all my teenage angst. xD She's like the big sister I wish I had.
