I don't see why people have to bash and flame other people's likes. I ship Cleris over CloTi, but it doesn't mean I'm going to get mad at CloTi fans. They're entitled to like it if they so desire.

I hate Rinoa with a firey burning passion, so I'm not going to go read a Squinoa fanfic and then flame Rinoa and the writer.

If someone likes her, I'm not going up to them and yelling "EW, she's such a whore!!!" I'll simply state something like "Even though I don't like Rinoa, I think you drew/wrote her really sweetly." I'll give you links if you don't believe me.

Come on people, there's no need to get so upset about it. For the most part we give warnings. Quite a few of us don't shove it down your throat. We like what we like, and we move on.

We will defend ourselves though. If you start going on and on about how gross yaoi is, do you honestly expect people to just sit there and take it? If I started going on and on about how gross and weird het is, I'd have quite a few people come after me.

"I don't hate yaoi, I just wish you'd draw something else."

That's what commissions are for sweetheart. Why should I stop doing something I like, just because you don't like it? Should I stop reading because you don't like to read? Should my friends stop playing sports because I can't? How does that make sence?

If I decide that Cloud Strife and Sephiroth would like to <strike>have sex</strike> cuddle while watching a movie, I'm allowed. If you decide that Aerith/Aeris Gainsborough and Zack Fair are very happy together in the lifestream, power to you. (Although I also like Zack and Aeris/Aerith together...)

Although there do tend to be yaoi fans who try and shove it down peoples throats. Not every yaoi fan is like that. Stereotyping is bad kiddies. Let's just all just try and be respectful.

As Balthier (FFXII) once said: "Believe what you want to. Whatever it takes to make you happy."

So let's all like/believe what we want and be happy! Life's got enough downs to fight over stupid stuff like that.
