I'm Not A Freak 2

Roxas and Sora walked into the cafeteria together, both coming from class. Riku had promised to meet them there, before heading in another direction.

"Sora! Roxas!" The boys turned to see Cloud called them over. They headed over, a little surprised. How had they managed to get the same lunch as Cloud? As they came closer, they noticed Cloud was with Leon -who appeared to be favoring one leg-, and quite a few other people. They were ranging in ages, but mostly they looked about their brothers' age.

Roxas raised an eyebrow. "How on earth did Sir Scowls-a-Lot, and Gloomy McEmo get so many friends so fast?" Sora snickered at his cousin's nickname for the two.

Leon glared at the two. "Stop calling us that. It's 'Leon' and 'Cloud', not Sir Scowls-A-Lot and Gloomy McEmo". Just because he didn't smile as much as most people did, did not leave any reason for such an idiotic nickname.

Roxas shrugged, and then Sora changed back to his cousin's question. "So, who are these people?"

Cloud shrugged, the action making him look exactly like his younger brother. "We just got here too you know. Remember, we're related?".

Aerith came fore ward. "Hi, I'm Aerith, you two must be Sora and Roxas" Said boys nodded. "These are my friends." She pointed to the group. "The girl with the long hair is Tifa, the bouncy girl with short hair is Yuffie, the guy with the long black hair hiding his face is Vincent, sitting beside him with the long silver hair is Yazoo, very short silver hair and a big gruff appearance is Loz, the bald guy in the sunglasses is Rude. Don't mind Loz and Rude, they may look threatening, but they're just big softies" The boys could have sworn Rude had glared at Aerith as she said this, but it was hard to tell with the sunglasses covering his eyes. Aerith suddenly had a puzzled look on her face. "Where's Reno?"

Yazoo looked up, showing bright aqua eyes. "He went to see Principle Ansem about Axel" His voice was soft and quiet, yet held something that made you want to stay on his good side.

"Wild red hair, green eyes, freakishly loud?" Roxas suddenly said.

Yazoo blinked. "Yes, why?"

Before Roxas could respond, yelling could be heard behind them.

"Honest Reno! It wasn't my fault! Seifer started it!" A pleading voice said loudly.

"I don't care who started it Axel! You know you shouldn't fight in school!" A second voice, probably 'Reno' replied.

A pair of red-heads came into view, one with their long red hair in a ponytail, the other's hair a wild mess, followed by two silver haired boys -one being Riku-, a guy with purple hair hanging over one side of his face, and a guy with dirty blonde hair in a mullet style. You could tell right away the red-heads were brothers. They looked too much alike not to be.

"You're such a hypocrite!" Axel yelled back, his green eyes narrowed in anger. Reno shot him a dirty look, though his eyes flashed something else, that from the distance they were at, the group couldn't tell what it was. Axel's look softened. "Look, I'm sorry, okay?"

The ones who had previously been following the red-heads, walked past them and up to the group, Riku in the lead.

"Hi Riku!" Sora chirped, bouncing on his toes. "Who are they?" he asked pointing to the others.

Riku introduced them as Zexion -the emo looking one-, Demyx -the one with the mullet hair-, and Kadaj who he called a spaz, causing Kadaj to glare and protest that he was not a spaz. Quite loudly. As the introduction was going on, Leon couldn't help but add that there was a lot of silver in this group.

Loz's deep voice came from the table. "Yazoo, Kadaj, Riku and I are brothers".

Nods of came from the Strife's -though they were wondering how one woman could have so many kids- as Reno and Axel came to sit down, Reno grabbing the extra soda from Rude's tray and drinking it quickly. Axel looked down slightly ashamed, though he tried not to let it show. Aerith was the first one to question what was wrong.

"Axel has detention, and it's supposed to rain later. I have work, and I don't want him walking home alone in the rain" he sighed.

"I'm not a baby, I can ride the bus or something" Axel said, half ticked about being treated like a little kid, half trying to be helpful.

"And have you be kidnapped on the bus? I don't think so" Reno said, taking a bite of the apple in his hand, which he had stolen from Vincent's tray. Vincent wasn't eating it. Was he eating anything?

"I can ask Sephiroth if he can drive Axel home" All eyes turned to Yazoo. "Sephiroth has to stay late anyway, and he probably won't mind"

Reno shook his head. "No, we can't come to you and your brothers every time we get in a rough spot" The silver haired family was always helping them, he couldn't keep asking for favors, it wasn't fair.

"Nonsense. Don't you have to work late anyway? Axel can spend the night" Reno looked like he was about to protest, when Yazoo gave him a look.

"Fine" he sighed.

The Strifes were beginning to feel a little out of place, and like they were missing something. Leon's ankle was hurting too. It was Tifa who noticed they were ignoring their new friends. "Hey, come on and sit down you guys. We still have a good half hour. How about Loz and I go get you guys something to eat?" Before any of them could protest, Tifa and Loz were out of their seats, and half way to the food line.

The Strife's sat down, Leon beside Vincent, Cloud between Reno and Aerith. Sora and Roxas sat beside each other, in between Riku and Axel. Sora was rubbing at his eyes, when Leon gave him a concerned look. "Sora, where you able to focus on your work?"

Sora looked up at his older brother, a slight red tinge to his cheeks. "Sorta..."

"What about the other students? Did anyone say anything?" Leon's eyes narrowed. Sora and Roxas, in fear of Leon going and killing  the students who were insulting Sora, lied.

"Nope, they were really nice!" Sora gave a huge grin. Leon sighed in relief. He was glad Sora wasn't having a hard first day.

Tifa and Loz came back, placing the trays in front of the Strife's. The boys said their thanks to the two, before starting to eat.

"Hey Sora, why do you keep blinking?" Kadaj asked suddenly, twirling a strand of shoulder length silver hair in his fingers. "Your hands have been twitching too".

The rest of the table sighed, and the Strife's had tensed. Although they were curious, they had wanted to allow Sora the chance to tell them if he wanted to. "Blunt as always" Vincent said.

"What? It's a valid question!" Kadaj protested.

"It-It's okay..." Sora's voice was quiet, and slightly fearful. He placed the milk he'd been drinking down. He realized if he wanted true friends, he had to explain his actions. "I have this thing called Tourette's Syndrome. It causes me to have physical and vocal ticks. I've been trying to suppress them. Guess I wasn't doing such a good job" Leon's hard snapped towards Sora so fast, he had probably gotten whiplash.

"Sora, you shouldn't try to suppress them, you know that"

"It's embarrassing Leon!" Sora said, cheeks tomato red. Suddenly, he'd been pulled into a hug from Aerith, Yuffie, and Tifa.

"You poor thing!" The girls chorused, as they hugged him even closer to their bodies. Close enough to make any straight man, or lesbian girl extremely jealous. In fact, a few members of the group were getting that feeling.

Zexion made a small note that the bell would ring soon, and the girls let go, but not before giving Sora another comforting squeeze and a reassurance that if he ever needed any help, they were there for him.

Demyx, who had been humming tunes the entire time, and for the first time in his life, keep relatively quiet, asked Sora what class he was in. After being told, Demyx grinned. "Zexy and I are in the class below you. We have the next two classes together. We're the only ones in our class who take music and art".

"One, it's Zexion. Two, it's Zexion and I" Zexion corrected, though he voice was very quiet. Demyx stuck his tongue out at his companion.

Roxas looked at his family. "I'm not feeling to well, I'm gonna go to the nurse".

"That means you'll be with Axel and I. We volunteer for extra credit" Riku said and smirked as Roxas groaned.

"On second though maybe I'll just-"

"No Rox. You don't want to get even more sick" Cloud said narrowing his eyes.

"Honest, my brother doesn't bite" Reno smirked. "Much".
